I thought us Americans are sometimes crazy, but this takes the cake, and it happened here in the city of Robin Hood! Queen Medical Center has suspended a world class Neurosurgeon and five of his scheduled operations over he supposedly took an extra bowl of soup. He said he was getting extra croutons. Now the patients may have to wait three weeks to six months to reschedule. That sounds pretty cruel to me and NHS is not going to step in mediate or try to fix the situation. My wife will be giving birth at QMC this weekend and I will tell you more QMC and how the NHS handles a routine procedure.
