Sgt. Stryker is having a discussion one of my pet peeves: How the military is portrayed by Hollywood. Since I have mellowed out over the years; when I am watching show with the military in it; I just now laugh and tell the people that I am with, under 2000 words, the top 10 mistakes with the movies. You know, the guns that never run out of ammo, pistols that fire like Gatlin guns, Marines with GQ haircuts, limp salutes, officers yelling all the time…… It is not just the military, police officers I know, roll their eyes when I mention a TV show and a doctor tells me about patients who see something on TV and asks them about it. Medical school via Hollywood, what a concept.
